Meanings of Health
Health is a complex issue. It changes constantly throughout our lives (DYNAMIC HEALTH), and is different for varying demographics (RELATIVE HEALTH). It also changes with social perspectives (SOCIAL CONSTRUCTION). The WHO defines health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
